Reinventing Connecticut - Small Businesses take note

There are new programs started under the legislation HB 6801 – An Act Promoting Economic Growth and Job Creation in the State, which is aimed at reinventing Connecticut by spurring the creation of new jobs, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship, and strengthening the state’s overall competitiveness. Connecticut Technology Council Honors Emerging Technology Companies for Accomplishments, Potential at Fifth Annual Innovation Pipeline Awards

Connecticut IT Jobs Report November 2011

Demand for IT specialists in Connecticut continues to disappoint.  In October, the number of IT job openings declined 10.6%, leaving job seekers with 760 opportunities (estimate).  This is the lowest demand since March 2010. All industry sectors retreated except Pharmaceuticals where we found a small improvement.  Read more...
